In addition to its educational activities, Wellspring is focused on providing Students with a living environment that is well-equipped in all aspects. The system of standards and service operation procedures meets the standards of management agencies and the requirements of Parents.
Bus Service
To meet the needs of Parents who are unable to take their children to and from school, the school provides a bus service with two options: door-to-door and pick-up/drop-off at designated points.
The bus system consists of 83 buses, including 4 29-seat buses and 79 16-seat buses, all of which are new models from 2015 onwards, operating on 83 routes throughout Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, … The service is monitored by GPS tracking software to track the time and location of Students getting on and off the bus, and to ensure that the bus follows the prescribed route.
Wellspring strictly implements service operation regulations and safety measures such as establishing a Bus Service Supervision Team; selecting and training drivers and monitors according to multiple criteria; publishing a "Bus Monitor Job Guide"; organizing training to improve service quality; continuously updating and implementing disease prevention and control procedures, hygiene and safety, etc.
School Nutrition
The school designs 3 meals/day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) to ensure that students of all ages receive adequate nutrition and energy, in conjunction with the Physical Education and School Nutrition program to develop their physical strength and stature according to standards.
The daily and weekly menus are designed according to nutritional standards:
- Variety of foods: meat, fish, vegetables, fruits…
- Balanced menu of Protein, Lipid, Glucid…
- Seasonal menu dishes are prepared to suit students' tastes.
- Ensure sufficient calorie intake in a day.
- Do not use pre-packaged foods such as sausages, instant noodles…
- Always ensure food safety.
In particular, after each meal, to ensure hygiene, the Canteen department cleans and disinfects the entire dining area (table tops, chairs, floors), cooking area and preparation area, etc.
Learning Resources
Wellspring Students' learning resources are not limited to the library, laboratory, STEM room, etc., but also include a vast online database. Each subject is provided with different characteristic resources such as online 3D models and virtual experiments for science subjects, virtual tours and documentaries for social studies subjects, and quality resources such as Discovery, Moza Book, Pasco... making lessons more interesting and visual.
In particular, from the 2020-2021 school year, the school has put into use a copyrighted E-learning website, providing video lessons and review exercises for Students from grades 1 to 12. This is a diverse and useful learning tool and content according to the "blended learning" model - integrated learning, which is an advanced educational trend in the world.
School Health
Wellspring has a medical room with the necessary equipment to ensure immediate first aid and healthcare for Students throughout their time at school.
The medical staff has specialized expertise and experience, and is trained and continuously updated on regulations to ensure the safety and health of Students during epidemics and seasonal changes.
Student Insurance
Wellspring cares about all aspects of students' lives, from their nutritional, physical, and medical needs to a very practical health insurance plan.
Parents can choose to purchase insurance for their children according to their family's wishes:
- Health insurance as per regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
- Health and accident insurance: The insurance program is specially designed for Wellspring students and their parents with multiple options for healthcare providers and various benefits when used.
Boarding
In addition, the school has a boarding service for Parents who want their children to live at school (only for Secondary School Students and above). Wellspring has built a fully equipped dormitory that meets the best learning and living needs of Students (designed and built into 2 separate areas for male and female Students). Along with classroom activities, Wellspring's dormitory will be a second home, where Students find safety, joy, sharing, and a passion for learning.
